How does ATS pricing work?

ATS charges per screening. The entry tier has no monthly minimum, so you pay only for the reports you order. Higher-volume tiers lower the per-screening price in exchange for a monthly minimum, which is a fit for property managers and high-volume agents.

Is there a setup fee and how long does setup take?

Accepted Answer

Yes. New clients must complete credentialing before they can order screenings — this is a federal legal requirement for accessing consumer credit data. Credentialing includes a one-time setup fee and an on-site inspection of your premises, and takes a minimum of 3 business days with your full cooperation (longer if scheduling the inspection takes more time). We occasionally offer discounted setup promotions; the current setup price is shown on the pricing page.

What is an onsite inspection?

An onsite inspection is a standard part of the account verification process, and can be conducted in person or virtually. A third-party inspector will evaluate your business location to confirm that your business is legitimate and that consumer information will be accessed and stored in a secure environment. The inspection is typically brief and helps us meet credit bureau and FCRA credentialing requirements before your account can be approved.

Are there discounts for property managers or high-volume users?

Yes. Property managers and agents who order regularly move into volume pricing tiers — the more screenings you commit to per month, the lower the per-screening cost. Volume tiers carry a monthly minimum. Contact us for portfolio pricing above 100 screenings per month.

Can the applicant pay for the screening?

Accepted Answer

Yes. ATS supports applicant-pay workflows where the prospective tenant pays for their own screening at the time of application. The landlord or agent never has to front the cost.
